Daniel Bwala, the former spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar’s 2023 presidential campaign, has called on Nigerians to exercise patience regarding President Bola Tinubu’s anticipated cabinet reshuffle. Speaking on Channels Television’s *Politics Today* on Wednesday, Bwala highlighted that the timing of the reshuffle is solely at the President’s discretion.
Bwala explained that Tinubu is likely making decisions based on assessments of his ministers through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). He stated, “He will do it when he wants to do it. The good thing is that he must have formed his own opinion based on assessment when they introduced this KPI assessment, and any minister who has not been able to meet up with this assessment will be able to know.”
He emphasized that the President has the final say in evaluating his ministers and urged Nigerians to trust the process. “It is the President who is now the overall assessor. He even engaged the Nigerian people, he said, ‘go and talk to them about the programme,’ and he will do it when he will do it,” Bwala noted.
Bwala reassured the public, saying, “I want to urge Nigerians to have patience; the President will do it. It can be tonight, it can be tomorrow, it can be anytime.”
