CLNI presents Certificate of Performance to TRCN Registrar, Prof. Ajiboye

In recognition of the sterling performance and excellent achievements of Prof. Josiah Ajiboye, Registrar/Chief Executive Officer of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, TRCN, the Centre for Leadership Network Initiative CLNI, on Tuesday presented a ‘Certificate of Excellent Performance‘ to the registrar at the council facility in Abuja.

Speaking at the event, the Executive Director, Amb. Myke Ngbe described Prof. Ajiboye as a maestro, a man with good knowledge of what education is and should be, while stating that the performance is in recognition of all his outstanding leadership qualities and performances.

He said; Prof. Ajiboye is a man of inestimable value, an icon of excellence, a great man filled with wit and vision; whose patriotism has shown in the educational sector of our dear country, he is a maestro with good knowledge of what education is and should be; we are proud to be associated with great minds like his.”

Amb. Myke, revealed that the CLNI certificate of performance is only given to deserving public holders after a thorough independent assessment is carried out’’ suffice to say that after a complete assessment,  CLNI, finds Prof. Ajiboye worthy of the certificate and is therefore recommended for higher calling.

In his appreciation speech, Prof. Ajiboye, thanked the group for finding him worthy of such award presentation, he however urged all CSO’s to continue to interface with the council in all its activities, that in his position as the Registrar he has been able to break boundaries never thought of and would continue to break more.

Ajiboye, however mentioned that the council has resolved to work with relevant stakeholders to ensure that teaching jobs are restricted to only professionals with expert knowledge and specialized skills acquired through rigorous and continuous training and TRCN certification.

The registrar assured members of the centre for leadership network initiative, that TRCN would continue to introduce positive process/ change and restore the glory of the teaching profession.
