Following a fuel tanker explosion in Niger State, over 50 shops and cars have been destroyed beyond recognition.
The incident happened in Lambatta, Gurara Local Government Area of Niger State at about 11 pm on Sunday.
It was learnt that the tanker, which was loaded with Premium Motor Spirit, exploded after crashing with a trailer.
Reports however stated that men of the fire service arrived from Suleja to put out the fire to curb further damage.
