In a recent virtual interview held in Lagos, Streeze, the recently evicted pair from the ongoing Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) “No Loose Guard” season, expressed their gratitude and fondness for their time on the reality show.
Ogunyemi Oluwatobi, also known as “Toby Forge,” and Mayowa Adewumi, known as “Mayor Frosh,” who were evicted on August 18, took the opportunity to thank their supporters and the show’s organizers. They acknowledged the three weeks of support they received, which they described as a deeply cherished experience.
Reflecting on their eviction, Mayor Frosh shared his surprise and disappointment, revealing that they were nominated by eight other pairs, despite having previously formed bonds with housemates like Nelita, Beta, and Chekas. “I felt they were for us, but I now understand that the nominations were due to a conflict of interest,” he said.
Discussing their decision to nominate the Ndinne pair in the second week, Mayor Frosh admitted that it was a tough choice due to their close relationship with them. “It was an emotional decision that hurt me inside. I was really close to Nne, and it took me a while to recover from the aftermath,” he explained.
Toby Forge also addressed his feelings regarding Double Kay’s marital status and his interest in Kassia. “It was painful to learn that Kassia was married. I suspected something but didn’t know it was to that extent. If I had known, I wouldn’t have approached her,” he said.
Looking ahead, Toby Forge, a 27-year-old content creator, plans to delve into acting, public relations, and choreography. Mayor Frosh, 25, who was also a content creator before joining the show, aims to further his career in the entertainment industry with a focus on voice-over work.
Both former housemates expressed their appreciation for the friendships and experiences gained during their time on BBNaija and are eager to pursue new opportunities in their respective fields.
