Reports has it that Victor Osimhen will captain the Super Eagles in their AFCON 2025 semi-final clash against Morocco’s Atlas Lions.
Wilfred Ndidi, the team’s captain will miss the semi-final clash due to suspension from card accumulation.
Ndidi received a caution during Nigeria’s Round of 16 match against Mozambique’s Mambas.
The Besiktas star was also booked in the quarter-final tie against Tunisia.
Reports recalls that Osimhen captained the Super Eagles in their last group game against Uganda.
Osimhen was named Super Eagles vice-captain on the eve of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
