The race for qualification in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) continues with several exciting matchups as teams battle for spots in the tournament.
Already confirmed for the competition are Algeria, Angola, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Comoros, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ivory Coast (the current champions), Mali, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
In Group B, the Central African Republic will host Gabon at 20:00 on Monday, a highly anticipated match with both teams fighting for vital points. Morocco, one of the favorites, will also face Lesotho at the same time.
Group D promises intense action with Libya playing Benin at 17:00, followed by Nigeria’s clash with Rwanda, as both teams vie for qualification.
Meanwhile, in Group F, Ghana, already eliminated, will face Niger at 17:00. Sudan will take on Angola in another important match as both teams seek crucial points.
In Group L, Malawi will play Burkina Faso in an early fixture at 14:00.
