The Niger Delta Contractors Association has cautioned against any attempt to sack the current Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Chief Dr. Samuel Ogbuku.
In a statement issued at the weekend, Sylvester Tonye, President of the group, noted that any political inconsistency in the Commission would only amount to retrogression.
He noted that the MD is an innovative, emphatic and accessible leader, hence he should be retained to drive the Commission towards achieving its mandate.
“The NDDC has not produced an MD like this before who is innovative, and is working tirelessly to create jobs for the youth. With so many programs drown out by the MD to engage youths and our women, Contractors are now happy having set up a payment plan that Contractors are no longer Coming to queue or paying percentage before they get their payment, the Samuel Ogbuku and is team has made life easy for Contractors that you can seat.”
