In a bold declaration, Chief Charles Obada, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta state, expressed his conviction that the Supreme Court’s judgment on the 2023 presidential petitions would favor President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Speaking from his residence in Agbarho, Ughelli, Chief Obada urged opposition parties, specifically mentioning petitioners Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), to withdraw their disputes and allow President Tinubu to focus on his governing duties.
The son of late General Orho Obada Rtd emphasized the need for unity, stating that the time for conflict had come to an end. He called upon all parties to set aside their differences, enabling the President to concentrate on steering the country forward. Chief Obada also appealed to the Senate to confirm Hon Stella Okotete as a Minister and expressed his confidence in Chief Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, the APC’s governorship candidate in the last Delta state election, eventually reclaiming his mandate through the court processes.
In his message, the APC chieftain stressed the importance of supporting President Tinubu and allowing him the space to lead the nation effectively, emphasizing the need for unity and collaboration among political factions.”
