Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has been ruled out of international duty for October due to an injury. Saka missed Arsenal’s recent match against Manchester City and has been assessed by England’s medical team, which determined he won’t be fit to play. Arsenal’s head coach, Mikel Arteta, confirmed Saka’s absence, stating that he has not trained for a single session. Saka had been dealing with hamstring issues in recent weeks, which forced him out of matches. While England had a chance to secure qualification for the European Championship during this international break, manager Gareth Southgate prioritized Saka’s health and opted not to take any risks with the player’s physical wellbeing. Saka’s absence marks the end of an impressive streak of featuring in 87 consecutive Premier League matches.
