During the book launch event of “Beyond Beauty,” penned by the celebrated writer, Dr. Blessing Agbomhere, John Taylor of Warwick, a distinguished member of the House of Lords in the United Kingdom Parliament, made a compelling promise to initiate projects aimed at empowering and uplifting the lives of young girls in Nigeria.
The book, “Beyond Beauty,” showcased the remarkable achievements and values of notable Nigerian women like Esther Agbomhere, the late Minister of Information Dora Akunyili, the late physician Stella Adadevoh, credited with curbing the spread of the Western African Ebola virus epidemic in Nigeria, Ekaette Unoma Akpabio, and Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu.
John Taylor expressed his admiration for the thought-provoking masterpiece, presented in the form of a play, and commended the author for capturing the determination and courage of typical Nigerian women, particularly highlighting the achievements of Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady.
