Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Bauchi extends heartfelt greetings to the Muslim community on the occasion of the 2023 Eid-el-Kabir celebration. Rev. Abraham Damina, Chairman of CAN, issued a goodwill message in Bauchi, urging the Muslim Ummah to utilize this festive season for prayers dedicated to the peace and development of both the state and Nigeria as a whole.
“On behalf of the entire Christian community in Bauchi state, I extend my congratulations to Governor Bala Mohammed and the millions of Muslim faithful as you celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir. I encourage our Muslim brothers and sisters to seize this festive season as an opportunity to pray fervently for the peace and progress of our state,” said Rev. Damina.
The chairman also called upon the Muslim faithful to offer prayers for a bountiful harvest for farmers and the overall development of the state. He expressed his belief that the sacrifices made during this season would restore the much-desired peace and unity in Bauchi. Furthermore, Rev. Damina appealed to the people of the state to pray for an abundant harvest during the current farming season and to overcome the prevailing security challenges.
In addition, Rev. Damina commended the governor for his commitment to an all-inclusive government, emphasizing the importance of such a move for the collective growth of the state.
