Chief Ogakwu, a Civil Society Leader, Honored for Decades of Advocacy in Nation-Building

Civil Society Leader, Dominic Ogakwu, Honored for Decades of Advocacy in Nation-Building. The President of the Civil Society Groups for Good Governance (CSGGG), Chief Ogakwu Dominic, will receive the prestigious “Award of Nation Building in Advocacy” at Nigeria’s Nation Builders Annual Award 2024. Organized by the National Council for Civil Society Organizations in partnership with the Vision-One Leadership Development Initiative.

This recognition is a testament to his unwavering dedication and years of impactful advocacy in fostering the nation-building agenda in Nigeria. Other dignitaries to be awarded alongside Chief Ogakwu include the National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Dr Abubakar Ahmed Audi, and the Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mr. Ola Olukoyade. The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre in Abuja.
