Fedele accuses Osimhen of deceiving about his commitment to staying at Napoli in Serie A
Enrico Fedele, an Italian pundit, alleges that Victor Osimhen, the Napoli striker, provided false information regarding his intention to remain with the Serie A champions.
Osimhen’s impressive performance, scoring 26 goals, contributed to the club’s Scudetto victory, their first since 1990.
His remarkable form has caught the attention of renowned European clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain.Contradicting Osimhen’s earlier claims, former sporting director Fedele asserts that the Nigerian striker’s statement about staying in Naples during the title celebrations was false.
During an interview with Radio Marte, Fedele expressed his skepticism, stating that Osimhen’s remarks were likely made to maintain the celebratory atmosphere and avoid dampening the joyful mood.
To secure Osimhen’s continued presence in Naples, Fedele suggests that Napoli would need to offer a substantial sum of ten million euros, as other clubs are prepared to pay well over one hundred million euros for his transfer, and players typically expect to receive around ten percent of the transfer fee as part of their contracts.
