Senator Gbenga Daniel, representing Ogun East in the National Assembly and former Governor of Ogun State, has called on Nigerians to rally behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, expressing confidence in Tinubu’s capability to bring about positive changes in the country.
Speaking at the 19th Annual Thanksgiving Service organized by Abraham’s Tabernacle (Baptist International Worship Centre) in Sagamu, Senator Gbenga Daniel acknowledged Tinubu’s competence and capacity, assuring the public that the President means well for the nation.
Daniel highlighted that while the initial stages of Tinubu’s administration might pose challenges, he urged Nigerians to be patient, stating that Tinubu would deliver on his electoral promises. He emphasized that Tinubu understands the difficulties faced by citizens and has implemented measures to address them, even though the restoration process might take time.
In his sermon at the thanksgiving service, Bishop Gboyega Ohu urged Nigerians to remain faithful to God and expressed appreciation for Senator Gbenga Daniel’s commitment to the annual thanksgiving program. The bishop also drew attention to the dilapidated state of the Sagamu-Ijebu-Ode road, calling on authorities to address the issue promptly.
Several dignitaries attended the thanksgiving service, including former Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola; Odole Oodua, Sir Kessington Adebutu; Ambassador Tokunbo Awolowo-Dosumu, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu, and other notable figures from various sectors.
