In two separate attacks on Pukah and Pinper communities in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State, gunmen have reportedly killed seven individuals. The assailants targeted Pukah community, where six men and a lady lost their lives. In Pinper community, the gunmen stole sheep and other domestic animals. A resident, John Mark, confirmed the incidents, and while the attacks have been reported to security operatives, the motive behind the attacks remains unclear. The assaults occurred shortly after the state government trained 600 personnel for its security outfit, Operation Rainbow.
