Former Bendel Insurance striker, Osarenkhoe Imade, has expressed his heartfelt farewell to his teammates at Bendel Insurance as he completes a move to United Arab Emirates side, United FC.
Imade, whose transfer to United FC was recently reported by PUNCH Sports Extra, has signed a three-year deal with an option for an additional year after successfully passing a medical examination at the club on Monday.
In his emotional farewell message, Imade said, “I am so emotional writing this farewell message. I knew this day would come because I have long waited for it while giving my all with blood and sweat to defend the Bendel Insurance badge. It means a lot to me.”
He continued, “I watched this club during my early days and heard incredible stories about it, later becoming a player myself. The Adaaaa Bendel spirit will always be with me, and I promise to be a good ambassador for the club. One day, I will return to contribute my part to the club that provided me with the platform and exposure I needed.”
