Abdulraham Mai-Kadama, the Senior Special Assistant on Entrepreneurship to Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf, has resigned from his position and left the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) to join the All Progressives Congress (APC). He made this announcement after a meeting with Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin in Abuja on Wednesday.
Mai-Kadama, previously a key figure in Kano’s political scene and leader of the G-6 group, will now be known as Mai Kadama Maliya. In his new role with the APC, he aims to advance good governance and accelerate the development of Kano and Nigeria. Jibrin welcomed Mai-Kadama’s shift to the APC, emphasizing the party’s commitment to improving the lives of Nigerians and inviting others to join the movement for greater democratic benefits.
