Julius Abure, the National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), has arrived at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal. However, LP’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, is yet to arrive at the time of this report.
Also present at the court are Senator Ireti Kingibe, representing the FCT in the Senate, and former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate in Anambra, Valentine Ozigbo.
The tribunal is poised to deliver its verdict on the petition challenging the declaration of Bola Tinubu as the victor of the February 25 presidential election. INEC had previously announced Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the February 25 polls.
