Yusuf Olatunji, a 27-year-old man, faced charges at the Ikorodu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State on Monday for the alleged theft of windows valued at N650,000.
Olatunji, accused of stealing 10 windows from a residence in Lajo Village, Ikorodu, pleaded not guilty to the count charge of stealing. The prosecutor, Insp Adegeshin Famuyiwa, stated that the theft occurred in August 2023, and the windows belonged to Mr. Paul Babatunde.
The prosecutor pointed out that the alleged theft contravened Section 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
Magistrate Mr. O. A. Ogbe granted bail to the defendant in the sum of N100,000, with a surety in a like sum. The case was adjourned until Feb. 8 for mention.
