Former Big Brother Naija ‘All-Stars’ contestant, Mercy Eke, recently spoke about her relationship with fellow housemate Whitemoney during the reality TV show. In an interview with media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Africa Magic, Mercy revealed that her connection with Whitemoney was purely strategic and an alliance to counter the threats posed by other housemates. She emphasized that it was not a romantic involvement and was planned to navigate the challenges of the game.
Mercy stated, ‘Me and Whitemoney’s relationship was just an alliance… It wasn’t anything. It was just an alliance. No feelings there at all. It was just a game.’
Whitemoney’s Campaign Team Disputes Betrayal Claims
In another development, Whitemoney, after his eviction from the show, accused his campaign team of betrayal, claiming they sold his votes, negatively impacting his chances of winning. He expressed his disappointment with his team, alleging internal and external battles during his time in the house.
However, in response to the accusation, Whitemoney’s campaign team released a statement refuting the betrayal claims. They clarified that they were not responsible for his eviction and did not sell his votes. They urged the public to understand that his statements were taken out of context, defending their integrity amid the controversy.”
