Naira Marley recently issued a press statement to clear his name of any involvement in the tragic death of Mohbad, but it appears that actress Tonto Dikeh isn’t convinced.
The circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s passing have left many with unanswered questions and deep concerns. Naira Marley, an artist who has been implicated in the tragedy, released an Instagram statement asserting his innocence. However, Tonto Dikeh, an actress and philanthropist, has weighed in on the matter with a direct message for Naira Marley.
In his statement, Naira Marley vehemently denied any physical altercation or harassment of Mohbad. He also addressed rumors connecting his record label, Marlian Music, to allegations of involvement with a drug cartel or secret society. Naira Marley unequivocally refuted these claims, asserting that he has no connections to any illegal activities and expressing his commitment to cooperating with authorities to clear his name.
Tonto Dikeh responded with a straightforward message: “Naira, turn yourself in and explain later.” Her statement resonated with many who believe that accountability is paramount in such sensitive situations.
Bella Shmurda, a close friend of Mohbad and a respected artist, also joined the conversation, urging Naira Marley to present himself to the authorities if he truly believes he is innocent.
Tonto Dikeh’s full statement reads:
“Naira, turn yourself in first and explain later.
You and Sam Larry can’t escape from this. This is not a movie where you can throw powder and make us forget about all the pain, beatings, assaults, mugging, injuries, humiliation, bullying, oppression, intimidation, physical and mental trauma that you, Sam Larry, and others inflicted on #GENERALMOHBAD.
The law will take its course, and you won’t get away with this. You can tell as many lies as you want, but the world now knows who you and your associates are.
We will not rest until you are apprehended and prosecuted for all the wrongs you committed against your fellow human being, #GeneralMohbad.”
