More details have surfaced regarding the alleged assault on musicians Bella Shmurda, Odumodublvck, and T-Dollar during an incident at Lagos State University (LASU).
According to reports, the singers had attended a show organized by dancer Poco Lee at LASU. Unfortunately, they were harassed by suspected cultists at the event.
Bella Shmurda was reportedly beaten at the university’s main auditorium, while Odumodublvck had to flee from the cultists. Videos circulating online captured the moment Odumodublvck ran away, and another video showed Bella Shmurda being escorted out of the school by security.
Further information reveals that the incident occurred on Thursday, July 13, during the concert. Suspected cultists disrupted the event, attacking and beating several people for reasons that remain unknown.
It was reported that some artists and dancers fled the venue immediately after their performances, while others did not show up at all due to fear of being assaulted.
An eyewitness, Olamide, shared a different perspective on Twitter, suggesting that the chaos was caused by the greed of the show organizers. According to her, the organizers had sold more tickets than the hall capacity, leaving many students unable to enter. This led to unrest among the students who demanded entry to the show they had paid for.
The exact motive behind the alleged assault and the identity of the culprits are yet to be confirmed. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
