The Youth wing of the apex Igbo socio-cultural group in Nigeria, Ohaneze Ndigbo, has revealed plans to commence its annual inauguration and installations of patrons Easter Monday.
The group revealed this to newsmen on Monday, during a courtesy visit to the local Government Chairman Honourable Chukwudi Orizu, in company of Secretary Hon Chris Uba, at his office, in a bid to discuss further on the upcoming inauguration.
The President of the group, Mazi Lotanna Azubogu, accompanied by his Publicity Secretary, Chidozie Orizu and other selected members, solicited for the support of the local government in ensuring a peaceful and results oriented inauguration in Nnewi North and its environs.
However, In appreciation the Chairman, saluted the group for finding time to intimate him on their plans, as he further promised to support the group in every way possible for it to achieve its aim.
He said: “What you have on your table is good and i believe its for the betterment of Nnewi Youths, i hereby promise to stand by you and support you as much as i can.”
The Publicity Secretary in a closing remark, thanked the LGA chairman, secretary and members for their commitment to the development of the area.
