Nigerian international and Nottingham Forest defender, Ola Aina, has shared the practical reasons behind his habit of sagging his shorts during football matches. Known for his strong presence on the field, Aina’s style has intrigued fans, as he often wears his shorts lower than usual.

In an interview with Fanstribe, Aina clarified that his choice is not a fashion statement. He explained, “From young, I’ve always been doing that, and it’s not for fashion; there’s a reason.” He pointed to his thighs and buttocks, noting their size makes traditional shorts uncomfortable.

“I choose larger shorts to avoid discomfort,” Aina laughed. “That’s why it’s always loose. Just leave me now!”
