A coalition of more than 400 lawmakers from 28 countries, including prominent figures like U.S. Democrat Ilhan Omar and former British Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn, has launched an appeal for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza war. The group, spanning nations from the United States and various European countries to Canada, Ghana, Chile, and Turkey, is urging for the release of hostages and the facilitation of humanitarian aid into Gaza. The lawmakers also call on their respective governments and the international community to uphold international law and seek accountability for human rights violations.
