During the Halleluyah Mega Praise Night at Shimawa High School, Ogun State, Pastor Enoch Adeboye shared insights with journalists, emphasizing the futility of battling political figures like Tinubu and governors. Instead, he urged Nigerians to turn to prayer for a transformative change in the nation’s fortunes.
Adeboye stressed the uniqueness of Nigeria and expressed optimism that victory would come soon. He discouraged constant protests and curses against leaders, advocating for a sense of responsibility and reliance on prayer.
He stated, ‘The heart of the king is in the hand of God. If only we could talk to God that put them there, I believe things will change, and very soon, it will change for the better.’
Advising leaders, he urged them to recognize the divine authority that placed them in their positions, calling on the church to focus on preaching righteousness and establishing integrity. Adeboye believes that leading by example will have a positive impact, creating a ripple effect throughout the nation.”
