As part of effort to promote innovation, creativity and ways of encouraging individuals to think outside the box and come up with new ideas and solutions to challenges facing the Directorate of Technical aid corps, the agency have put together a three days capacity building training for efficiency at the work place for protocol officers at the headquarter in Abuja.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Director General of Technical aid corps who was represented by Ambassador Ahmed Abdullahi charged the participants to make the best use of their time to learn, equipped with the vast knowledge so as to make a positive impact in the agency.

Amb. Abdullahi however, said the role of the department was such a strategic one in realising the institutional goals and mandates of the agency in the years ahead.

“Staff training is the life wire of effective performance in both the public and private sectors, so you must listen attentively, so as to tackle the challenges that laid ahead”.

While thanking the management of DTAC for their collaboration, constantly aimed at scaling up the skills of their workforce, the CEO of CSO Media integrated Chief Dominic Ogakwu, said the involvement in the training exercise of their group is because they are known for quality results, underscores the commitment of DTAC to staff development and overall quality output in the agency.

Ogakwu also thanked the management and staff of the corps for the opportunity to partner and train their staff.

In his remark the Special Assistant to the Director General on protocol matters Mr. Lawandy Bala expressed gratitude to the DG and members of his team for the opportunity of the training exercise, which was put together by the DG. He further pledge the focus and commitment of officers of the department to actualizing the goal of the programme.

The training which is expected to end on wednesday with papers presentation on understanding protocols and Etiquette, Event planing, effective communication skills, crisis management and decision making, technology integration, legal and regulatory compliance and lot more. Certificate of appreciation will be presented to the participants.
