Two female students from Kwara State Polytechnic, Joseph Joy Adanma and Vandora Oreoluwa Favour, have confessed to the gruesome murder of nightclub owner Adeniyi Ojo in a hotel room. The shocking revelation came during their parade at the Force Headquarters in Abuja. Here are the chilling details of their confession:
1. **Motive:** The students decided to target Adeniyi Ojo because he had refused to assist them when they needed help, and Adanma had previously worked at his nightclub.
2. **Deception:** They lured Adeniyi into a hotel room under the guise of engaging in sexual activity. The victim consented to being tied up as part of the supposed intimate encounter.
3. **Tying Up:** Once in the hotel room, they proceeded to bind the deceased. He initially agreed to this, believing it was part of the encounter.
4. **Demands for Money:** The two students demanded money from the bound victim. However, when Adeniyi Ojo did not comply with their demands, their intentions took a dark turn.
5. **Murder:** As the victim resisted and attempted to call for help, the suspects drugged and suffocated him, leading to his untimely death.
The police, through meticulous investigative work, tracked down and apprehended the two suspects. The Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, confirmed that the suspects would face legal charges for their involvement in the robbery and murder of Mr. Ojo.
