Wunmi, the spouse of the late renowned singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known as MohBad, recently unveiled the challenges her husband faced until his passing. In a heartfelt Instagram post, she shed light on the fact that the singer rarely experienced happiness during his lifetime.
Wunmi, a mother of one, asserted that MohBad was unfairly labeled as a junkie to shape public perception about him. She also disclosed that her husband lived in constant fear, a burden that intensified following the birth of their five-month-old son, Liam.
According to Wunmi, MohBad was deeply concerned for their safety and urged her to leave the country with their child. She shared her thoughts on her Instagram story, saying, “This man battled hardships until his last breath, enduring immense pain and constant threats. At the age of 27, you’ve all turned me into a widow. May God grant you eternal rest.”
She further lamented, “Nothing brought him joy anymore, not even the sight of his own child. He had become a family man who wanted to protect us at all costs. He implored me to leave for the sake of our baby, fearing that harm might befall us. He said, ‘Wunmi, please go for the sake of our child. I don’t want anything to happen to you two. Let me handle these challenges myself.’ Ilerioluwa, rest in peace; you truly deserve that peace.”
