Grammy award-winning Nigerian artist, Wizkid, has unveiled his desire to pursue a career in acting during his recent hiatus from music. The Starboy boss, known as Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, shared his motivations for the career shift on his Instagram story, expressing his interest in engaging in on-screen activities such as kissing women and handling firearms within the context of movies.
In Pidgin, Wizkid stated, “Shebi I tell una I one dey act film!…I just want dey kiss and shoot a gun for a movie. Daz all!!” This revelation comes as Wizkid takes a break from the studio, contemplating an extension of his hiatus from three to four years to a potential six-year duration. The artist had previously announced breaks from music, including a hiatus in 2019, indicating his intention to return in March of that year.
