Mallam Balarabe Shehu, The Director-General of NBC who confirmed this on Friday said that the action was taken due to failure of the media house to renew their broadcast licenses.
Shehu also directed its state offices to liaise with security agencies to ensure the shut down of the operation of the stations within the next 24 hours.
