The Nigerian Technical Aide Corps (DTAC) has kicked off a three-day training program aimed at enhancing the skills of its security personnel, drivers, and protocol officers. The training, themed “Upskilling professional excellence Enhancing the NTAC Security, drivers and protocols officers of the Nigerian Technical aid corps Capability for Efficient Service Delivery,” is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and expertise needed to deliver efficient services.
According to the Director General of DTAC, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub, the workshop was conceived to promote effective coordination among drivers, security personnel, and protocol officers, aligning with international best practices. Yakub emphasized his commitment to upholding diplomatic protocol, precedence, and etiquette in line with global standards.
Chief Ogakwu Dominic, Managing Director of CSO Media Integrated, commended NTAC for taking proactive steps to train its staff, noting that drivers, security personnel, and protocol officers are often overlooked in other agencies. He assured participants of a robust training experience, empowering them to tackle future challenges.
NTAC’s initiative demonstrates its dedication to capacity building and excellence in service delivery, aligning with its mission to share Nigeria’s expertise with other African, Caribbean, and Pacific countries.
