Ahead of the 4th edition of Tarabans Resident in Abuja end of the year event which is set to hold tomorrow 16th December, 2023 at Women Development Centre Abuja, Chairman of the Organising Committee Mr. Jerry Ali Adda earlier today enjoined Tarabans across all board to turn out en mass to grace the grand event, promising that this year event will go down as one of the best ever..
Mr. Ada who stated this today in Abuja while addressing Journalists further said the Taraba State Governor, Minister, National Assembly members and other top Government functionaries will attend the event.
“This grand event is tailored to celebrate the diversity, culture and heritage of Tarabans outside the state and in diaspora. It’s also a day set aside for celebration of love, unity, and rich diversity of Tarabans resident here in Abuja and across the globe”.
Mr. Adda emphasised the need for all Tarabans resident in Abuja to attend to witness the greatest and grandest event, showcasing Taraba rich cultural diversity across the 16 local government areas and the unique cultures of over 80 tribes of Taraba origin.
“It is a demonstration that we are not just Tarabans living outside our home state and in the diaspora, but we are also our brother’s keeper far away from our state. The event which is beyond political affiliation or partisanship, is a great feast which had in the past edified the growth and development of Tarabans in Abuja. Let us come and get familiar with the culture, people and government of Taraba State”.
Mr. Ada also appealed to stakeholders to join hands in order to make the event reality.
