In response, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the Criminal Investigation Department has been directed to investigate the clash promptly. The Commissioner emphasized the police force’s steadfast commitment to engaging critical stakeholders in Election Security Management, ensuring a safe environment for the electoral process.
The CP issued a stern warning to potential troublemakers, urging them to refrain from acts of violence that could jeopardize the credibility of the electoral process. He emphasized the collaboration with other security agencies in election security management and vowed decisive action against anyone disrupting the electoral process.
