Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, extended a warm reception to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, during their visit to Lagos on Sunday. Accompanied by his wife, Dr. Ibijoke, and members of the State Executive Council, Governor Sanwo-Olu hosted the British Royal couple at Lagos House, Marina, for a courtesy visit.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s visit to Nigeria is part of their three-day tour aimed at promoting the Invictus Games, an initiative founded by Prince Harry in 2014. The Invictus Games seek to raise funds and provide support to serving military personnel and veterans, aiding in their physical and mental recovery.
