Obinna Tochuukwu Iyiegbu, the chairman of the Cubana Group, known as Obi Cubana, has expressed his admiration for Dr. Stanley Uzochukwu, the Chairman/CEO of ‘The Delborough Lagos’, for his role in accommodating Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during their recent visit to Nigeria.
In an Instagram post on Monday, Obi Cubana praised Dr. Stanley as his “brother with the Midas touch” and applauded him for making Nigeria and Africa proud by establishing the prestigious hotel where the royal couple chose to stay.
Describing ‘The Delborough Lagos’ as the “Number 1 luxury hotel in Africa presently,” Obi Cubana highlighted the significance of hosting The Duke and Duchess of Sussex at the luxurious establishment.
He wrote, “That’s how we hosted The Duke and Duchess of Sussex at our luxurious @thedelborough yesterday! Need we say more?? We are the Number 1 luxury hotel in Africa presently……yes! @stanleyuzochukwu my brother with the Midas touch.”
The visit of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to Nigeria occurred over a 3-day private visit, following an invitation extended by the Nigerian Chief of Defense Staff, General Christopher Musa.
The acknowledgment from Obi Cubana underscores the prestige and acclaim garnered by ‘The Delborough Lagos’ as a premier destination for luxury hospitality in Africa.
