President Bola Tinubu recently held a meeting with King Charles of England as part of preparations for the upcoming COP28 Climate Action Summit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Tinubu departed from Abuja, Nigeria, to participate in the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference, where he is set to deliver a national statement outlining Nigeria’s position on various thematic issues, including renewable energy and climate financing. The meeting with King Charles aims to strengthen partnerships and support Tinubu’s commitment to attract foreign direct investment for wealth creation and revenue expansion in Nigeria. Tinubu’s delegation will actively explore opportunities for bilateral partnerships and engage in key sideline events during the summit.
